What to do this weekend...

Chetco River Resort, our sister resort, is located 6/10 of a mile up the North Bank of the Chetco River in Brookings, OR. The cabins are the same as you are used to at White Rock Resort. Most have the master bedroom with sleeping loft. A few are 2 bedroom. They all have private decks with hot tubs and plumbed in gas BBQ's and fireplaces. If you're looking to save money or are on a budget this is a great place. The prices are lower and the special, stay 2 nights and get the 3rd night free, is also available here but can also be used over holiday weekends! - A rare treat indeed!

Chetco River Resort is located very near to the town of Brookings where there is plenty to eat, see and do. Besides being situated on the bank of the Chetco River, it is also only a few miles from any number of beaches. The resort is so close to the mouth of the river that we are in the tidal exchange which means the river fluctuates with the tides. This also means we get sea faring friends from time to time. Seals can sometimes be seen as well as seagulls and pelicans when in season. There is also a family of otters that live nearby who love fishing at the resort and an osprey nest. Keep an eye out for the wild deer and turkeys that visit from time to time too.

Also located on the property is a very well known fishing hole - Snug Hole - for any avid fisher-folk. You can cast a line right from your deck, charter a boat from the harbor or hire one of our local guides. There is something to fish for all year round here.
